TreeSwing/Children's Hospital & Dearborn Elementary!

On Tuesday September 3rd, 2008 OntheDouble (dutch) joined the students at Dearborn Elementary School for a super sweet performance which include the Mariner Moose and the Seattle Storm's Doppler. We ran thru our awesome 3-girl routine almost without a hitch and then proceeded to jump the mascots and the Superintendent Seattle Public Schools among many other totally awesome folks.

It was a super fun afternoon which we ended by hanging out with the Dearborn Elementary students and their rad teacher, Ed Adams. We taught them some sweet moves, like lasso, white knuckles, elevator, popcorn...they are anxious to teach Jaime how to do a backflip and me to juggle in the ropes. We're stoked to have new friends to work with!

The event was the kickoff for TreeSwing's JumpUp campaign. It was "created in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital, JumpUp will distribute a free jump-rope kit to each of the 4,000 kindergarten students in the Seattle Public Schools, giving them the opportunity to jump for fun and fitness."
